Favorite Local Things
Local Lynchburg
To me, being a Realtor is a lot more than helping people buy or sell a home. It’s being a resource for the community. It’s helping people when they need a recommendation for a service, activity or restaurant. I love being that resource for my clients! The iconic song from the Sound of Music lists some of Julie Andrews “Favorite Things.” I thought I’d take a moment to list some of my favorite local things to do, foods to eat, and places to go right here in the Lynchburg area!
Favorite Foods
Isabella’s Apple & Gorgonzola Salad – pairs well with Lobster bisque and Isabella’s house made bread with butter slabs.
Outside the Cone‘s Cookie Dough Ice Cream. If you have not been to Outside the Cone, please stop what you are doing and go right now.
Dish‘s Empanadas – new recent find! It’s both different and delicious!
Favorite Places to Go!
Thomas Jefferson’s Poplar Forest Walking Trail
This trail is beautiful, peaceful, and takes you past one of our first President’s second homes.

Sharp Top – With 360 degree panoramic views including a stunning view of Wheat’s Valley and Abbott’s Lake. The hiking is a tough one, but worth it! Go early for a chance to spot a black bear!
Favorite Things to Do!
Liberty’s Tower Theater – Professional and always well done! Why go to Broadway?
Roanoke’s Pinball Museum – My family checked this out last year and had a blast! Pay once and play as much pinball as you want! Very fun!
These are just a few of my favorite things! If you’re looking for someone to help you buy or sell a home, but also someone who knows the community and will be a lifelong resource for Real Estate and beyond, give us a call! We’d love to meet you!
